Thanks to all that read the post and of course left a comment! The ones that know me have been warned I was thinking about starting my blog, so here it is. I hope you all enjoy it in the same way I enjoy writing for it.

I downloaded and paid "on rainbows". I gave 4.00 + 0.45 (extra charge, don't know why) pounds.

I think that really Internet will make the numbers lower. Maybe not now (I wanted to support Radiohead ) but when paying whatever you want by Internet is more widespread.
On the other hand, it really depends on the people and their culture. I'd like to see figures by country.

Danette couldn't have explained better what I think. I downloaded radiohead's album, I liked it, so I paid for it. I expressed my gratitude directly to them, and I was happier doing it, because no intermediate record company was earning from my money.

i think people are more inclined to be honest when others have faith in them. if someone gives me the benefit of the doubt and assumes that i will do the right thing, i want to prove them right. if they assume i'm a liar and a thief, i'm more likely to say, "F*** that", and do what i want. Metallica has millions of dollars and sued downloading websites, and people hated them for it. Radiohead is willing to give it all out for free, and as such, people want to help them out for being nice.
